Carrie Hilling is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) in the state of Illinois with over 18 years of experience working with individuals experiencing mental health and/or substance use issues.
Her experience involves individual, group, and family therapy. Carrie's passion is aiding those who may be experiencing mood fluctuations, anxiety, anger, increased stress, substance use, and life transitions such as marriage, blended families, empty nest, young adulthood, divorce, grief, and loss among others.
Over the years she has provided a multitude of services including: therapy to those age 10-90 years old, early intervention in a high school setting, community support, research for college and grant funded projects related to Emotional Intelligence, substance use issues, residential counseling for adolescents, and clinical oversight of adult outpatient programs.
Carrie demonstrates a caring, genuine concern for life stressors and/or issues you many be encountering. Through solution focused strategies, empowerment, and support Carrie partners with individuals to create improved satisfaction, peace and/or happiness in one's life through a positive therapeutic experience.
